Frequently asked questions

How is the 20-per-day free limit counted?

Each successfully generated document counts as one. The counter resets at midnight in the add-on's configured time zone, and is tracked per Google account (or per form, if no email is available).

What does β€œbound to your Google email” mean for Individual?

When the person who triggers the add-on is signed in with the email you paid for, they get unlimited generations. Other users on the same form still fall under the free 20/day limit.

How does the Business plan know who is covered?

We check the email domain, e.g. @acme.com. Any user whose Google account ends in your purchased domain is unlimited.

Do I need to set up Firebase to use the free version?

No. The add-on works fully without any backend. Firebase is only needed when you want to enforce the free-tier cap and validate paid licenses.

Where are generated documents stored?

In the Google Drive folder you pick in the sidebar. Emails use the generated files as attachments.

Does it work with conditional logic?

Yes. You can require specific answers before a template runs, combine rules with AND/OR, and attach additional documents on top of the main template.

Which Google accounts are supported?

Any standard @gmail.com account or a Google Workspace account. Quotas for outgoing email come from Google (100/day for consumer, 1,500/day for Workspace paid plans).
